Sterilized
→ Facts & Figures

Sterilising or castrating your dog can reduce a number of concerns, no more seasons in bitches and reduced territory marking or undesirable behaviour in males. And there are also health benefits. The risk of developing tumours or cancer in later life is reduced in comparison to non-neutered dogs. However, several studies have shown that the risk of obesity increases after surgery. And of course, obesity can create its own problems like heart disease and diabetes. So maintaining optimum weight is very important for any dog's health and well-being.

ARION Health&Care Sterilized has been developed to meet the specific nutritional needs of neutered dogs and help their owners to maintain their dogs' optimum weight. It contains L-carnitine which turns fat into energy, and when this is combined with the correct level of proteins, it maintains muscle mass. It contains a higher level of dietary fibre and protein which means your dog feels that it's eaten properly, as well as antioxidants to protect against free radicals. Thanks to the food's composition, urine acidity is kept under control, reducing the risk of struvite kidney stones forming.
